How Our Snowflakes are Harvested. Our snowflakes are breathtaking to look at and are 100% REAL Genuine North Pole Snowflakes. All of our snow flakes are harvested in mid-air by little elves in the North Pole. The snow flakes are then taken to our quality control and distribution center in McAllen, Texas. Here everything from the snowflake's color to it's shape is inspected for quality. Rare yellow snowflakes are discarded immediately because we only sell snowflakes made from the purist H2O. Preserving your Snowflake Don't eat your new snowflake as we cannot guarantee it's purity and even though we try to discard all yellow snowflakes on occasion some have been shipped. To increase the life of your new snowflake we highly recommend that you keep your snowflake in a cool environment. Ideal snowflake temperature conditions are sub zero temperatures. So unless you live in an igloo, we don't recommend ever taking your snowflake out of the ice box. Another way to preserve your new snowflake would be to lower your home thermostat to the ideal snowflake temperature of "below zero" upon receiving your snowflake. Now grab your coat, gloves, beanie, boots, scarf, earmuffs, etc... and admire your snowflake's uniqueness.
